Sunday Cars & Coffee – 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM The main event begins at our hallowed Darien location. Early arrivals welcome—true automotive anarchists have been known to appear the night before. There will be a DJ and music, a live memorabilia auction, a Q&A with some of the original race participants and both of Brock Yates’ Cannonball Dodge Challengers.

Among the Cannonball notables who will be attending:

• Brock Yates Jr who, at the age of 14, participated in Cannonball #1 with his father, Steve Smith and Jim Williams in the famous “Moon Trash One” Dodge Sportsman van.
• Lady Pamela Yates who played the part of the patient being transported in the ambulance in Cannonball #3
• Judy Stropus, also from Cannonball #3, who was the inspiration for Adrienne Barbeau’s character in the movie Cannonball Run
• Dennis “Mad Dog” Menescini who drove his 1979 Chevrolet Silverado pickup up the embankment behind Goodwives and through a fence onto I-95 in Cannonball #5
• Chuck Schmitt, John Harrison from Cannonball #5 in 1979
• Wendy Epstein, the first woman to complete any Cannonball on a motorcycle will be coming and she will be displaying her motorcycle
• Alex Roy who broke the record in 2006 and who set the Full Self Driving record in 2025
• Jeff Popick and his daughter, Alexis who became the first father / daughter team to complete the run earlier in 2025
• Andre Morgan who was one of the Producers on all the Cannonball Run movies
