 3, 2024 - Rain Date: October 20, 2024. Sponsored by the Valley Collect
 or Car Club and the Litchfield Hills Historical Automobile Club, the 1
 1th Annual Cars for Kids Automobile Show will be held at CJR in Litchf
 ield, 550 Goshen Road. Gates open for show cars at 8 AM. Entries are $
 10 per car. Dashboard plaques will be given to the first 100 paid regi
 strants and exhibitor gift bags to the first 200 paid registrants. Jud
 ging will be from 10:30 AM 1:30 PM and more than 20 trophies will be a
 warded at 2:30 PM. Spectator parking opens at 10 AM. Admission is $5 p
 er car for spectators. Breakfast sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, bar
 becued chicken sandwiches and hot and cold beverages will be sold. A s
 crumptious, signature bake sale will be conducted by the Litchfield Ai
 d of CJR.Children and families will enjoy farm tours and hay rides. Vi
 sitors may purchase eggs, chrysanthemums, and produce, including, pump
 kins, gourds and squash grown by students, at CJRs roadside Farm Marke
 t. Products from other vocational classes, including culinary arts, wo
 odshop, fine and creative arts, and power technology will also be feat
 ured. Proceeds from this event will support CJRs care, treatment and e
 ducation services for children, youth and families in locations throug
