 and a lot of people just bring their sled and do not register it,” s
 aid Jim Latino, the event coordinator. “Probably 2,500 people attend
  from all over the Northeast and Canada.”\r\n\r\n\r\nTrophies will b
 e presented in several categories, including special awards for the ev
 ent’s featured snowmobiles. \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nIn addition to the snow
 mobiles, the Whiteout features several parts vendors and others with g
 ear such as jackets, sweatshirts, T-shirts and knickknacks. Food is av
 ailable for purchase.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nSeveral sponsors help make the ev
 ent possible. All proceeds are distributed to local charities.\r\nCont
