  and a lot of people just bring their sled and do not register it,” 
 said Jim Latino, the event coordinator. “Probably 2,500 people atten
 d from all over the Northeast and Canada.”\r\n\r\n\r\nTrophies will 
 be presented in several categories, including special awards for the e
 vent’s featured snowmobiles. \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nIn addition to the sno
 wmobiles, the Whiteout features several parts vendors and others with 
 gear such as jackets, sweatshirts, T-shirts and knickknacks. Food is a
 vailable for purchase.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nSeveral sponsors help make the e
 vent possible. All proceeds are distributed to local charities.\r\nCon
