DESCRIPTION:The Fourth Annual Farmingdale Community Festival will be h
 eld on Saturday,\nOctober 3, 2015. Our event is held on our school cam
 pus which allows all attendees,\nparticipants and donors to see where 
 the monies raised are used. It is a full day of\nfamily events with cr
 afts, merchandise, and nonprofit vendors; food; demonstrations;\nga
 mes; gift auction; car show; a DJ; plus much more!\n \nThis speci
 al event has given us a way to come together, not only in support of o
 ur school, but our town. Over the past three years, the festival has b
 een a very successful event for the entire community and many others t
 hat do not reside in Farmingdale. To date, through the hard work of ma
 ny behind the scenes, we have raised over $20,000.00. The first festiv
 al proceeds were used to purchase a new piece of equipment for the pla
 yground. The proceeds from the past two years are being used for much 
 needed upgrades to the other equipment area of the playground. This ye
 ar’s proceeds will continue to help make proposed upgrades a reality
