 ree. \r\nGates open at 9am. \r\nThis is the most innovative, success
 ful family fun auto event in the area. Its unique attributes of Cascad
 e Park make it a perfect festival venue and its abundance of space for
  over 30,000 spectators. With areas of entertainment, food, and carniv
 al inflatable fun this provides a platform for over 1000 cars, music a
 nd fun for the entire family.\r\n \r\nThe success of this event is ex
 citing and has been recognized not only by this area, but nationally. 
 In past years ESPN2 STREET RODDER TV covered our event, Along with an 
 “Our Town” segment on Comcast Cable. Also, Back to The 50’s Week
 end has been written up in such magazines as, Hot Rod Magazine, Rod an
 d Custom, Street Rodder, Super Rod, and Cruisin Times, just to name a 
 few.\r\n \r\nOrganizer Tamra Lombardo. In addition, much of her time 
 is spent caring for her father, Chuck, who has Alzheimer’s. Chuck Lo
 mbardo, the late John Morgan and the late Ed Donofrio co-founded the v
 intage car show in the 1980s.\r\nThrough the years it evolved, attract
 ing as many as 5,000 cars from as far as Canada, Tennessee and Florida
  and drew 30,000 folks to the downtown and Cascade Park.\r\n\r\nLombar
 do and her co-organizer Edward Holsinger Jr. promise to bring back the
  car show.\r\n\r\nChuck Lombardo’s diagnosis with Alzheimer’s prom
 pted a pause in the event in 2018 and 2019. COVID canceled the car sho
 w in 2020, but it returned for 2021 and 2022. 2023 and 2024 were setup
  problems. So we are back for 2025! \r\n\r\nOriginally, proceeds from
  Back to the 50’s were donated to various charities including St. Ju
 de Children’s Research Hospital.\r\nHowever, after the elder Lombard
 o was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, the Alzheimer’s Association beca
