  Car & Truck Show or as it is known for 2026 \"Speedyfest\" Car Show,
  \r\n\r\nruns Saturday Aug. 8, and Sunday Aug. 9. From 9am, on to awa
 rds at 2:15 pm. Registration is open. Dash plaques. Two car shows in o
 ne! Guest Car, General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard, show and movies.
  Take your picture by the car. \r\n\r\nEven if you’re not a “car 
 guy,” you’ll want to see this! Our show has hundreds of vehicles d
 ating all the way back to the 1920s in all kinds of shapes and colors.
 \r\nDon’t just come once! The vehicles will be different on Saturday
  and Sunday. You’ll want to see both shows! Trophies are awarded eac
 h day for “Best of” in the following categories: GM, Mopar, Ford, 
 Street Rod, Muscle, Truck, Van, Rat Rod, Stock, Production, Domestic T
 unerz, All Original, 4×4, Engine, Paint and Electric.\r\nPiston troph
 ies are back for all the classes. The Corning Museum of Glass has mad
 e our hand blown “Best of Show” trophies for each day’s winner
 s! Motorcycles welcome too! Pistons trophies for “Best” Custom Bi
 ke, Import, American, and Rat. AND NEW this year: Best Movie Look-A-Li
 ke!\r\nOther happenings!  Volleyball and Cornhole Tourneys. Many loca

 EGISTRATION IS ONLINE. \r\n\r\nWith its humble beginnings as a small 
 community event, Spiedie Fest has grown into a beloved tradition that 
 attracts thousands of visitors each year to Binghamton, NY. History! 
  In 1983, a few families got together and argued over who had the best
  spiedies recipe in Binghamton. To put an end to their friendly rivalr
 y, they held the first Spiedie Fest Cooking Contests in subsequent yea
 rs.  In 2001, the festival was recognized by the Library of Congress w
 ith a Legacy Award and today a Spiedie Fest display resides in the Lib
 rary of Congress in Washington, D.C. In 2005, the festival was named o
 ne of the 100 Destinations in the U.S. by Destination Magazine.  Over 
 the last three decades, with tremendous support from the community, Sp
 iedie Fest has grown from its origins as a spiedie cook-off to include
  hot air balloons, musical acts, family entertainment, a 5k run/walk, 
 volleyball tournament, car show and dozens of food and merchandise ven
 dors.  Last year Spiedie Fest was featured in The New York Times.  Spi
 edie Fest is now a showcase of the best Broome County has to offer.\r\
