 wn for 2025 \"Speedyfest\" Car Show, \r\n\r\nruns Saturday Aug. 2, a
 nd Sunday Aug. 3. From 10am, on. Registration is open. Free with festi
 val admission. Two car shows in one! Guest Car,  Richard Petty's numb
 er 43, 1966 Plymouth Satellite. Take your picture by the car. \r\n\r\
 nEven if you’re not a “car guy,” you’ll want to see this! Our 
 show has hundreds of vehicles dating all the way back to the 1920s in 
 all kinds of shapes and colors.\r\nDon’t just come once! The vehicle
 s will be different on Saturday and Sunday. You’ll want to see both 
 shows! Trophies are awarded each day for “Best of” in the followin
 g categories: GM, Mopar, Ford, Street Rod, Muscle, Truck, Van, Rat Rod
 , Stock, Production, Domestic Tunerz, All Original, 4×4, Engine, Pain
 t and Electric.\r\nPiston trophies are back for all the classes. The 
 Corning Museum of Glass has made our hand blown “Best of Show” t
 rophies for each day’s winners! Motorcycles welcome too! Pistons tr
 ophies for “Best” Custom Bike, Import, American, and Rat. AND NEW 
 this year: Best Movie Look-A-Like!\r\nOther happenings!  Volleyball a
 nd Cornhole Tourneys. Many local/regional  bands and demonstrations.

 s humble beginnings as a small community event, Spiedie Fest has grown
  into a beloved tradition that attracts thousands of visitors each yea
 r to Binghamton, NY. History!  In 1983, a few families got together a
 nd argued over who had the best spiedies recipe in Binghamton. To put 
 an end to their friendly rivalry, they held the first Spiedie Fest Coo
 king Contests in subsequent years.  In 2001, the festival was recogniz
 ed by the Library of Congress with a Legacy Award and today a Spiedie 
 Fest display resides in the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. In
  2005, the festival was named one of the 100 Destinations in the U.S. 
 by Destination Magazine.  Over the last three decades, with tremendous
  support from the community, Spiedie Fest has grown from its origins a
 s a spiedie cook-off to include hot air balloons, musical acts, family
  entertainment, a 5k run/walk, volleyball tournament, car show and doz
 ens of food and merchandise vendors.  Last year Spiedie Fest was featu
 red in The New York Times.  Spiedie Fest is now a showcase of the best
