DESCRIPTION:The transportation technology students welcome you to our 
 second annual Show Your Ride car show Sunday April 29th 2018 10:00AM -
 2:00PM\n\nThis event, brought to you by the Auto Body and Auto Technol
 ogy students of Columbia-Montour AVTS, and held on school grounds is o
 pen to all cars, trucks, street rods, rat rods, race cars, and motorcy
 cles regardless of condition. Individuals don’t have to drive a cust
 om car, truck, motorcycle or hot rod to attend. Members of the non-mot
 oring public are also welcome to check out the machinery while talking
  to car owners and students alike about their passion for the automoti
 ve hobby. In a departure from most automotive gatherings, this show al
 so boasts a play area with Mrs. Appleman’s chickens, and lots of fre
 e games sure to please adults and children alike. When you’re finish
 ed checking out the cool rides, try your hand at volleyball, bean bag 
 toss or other games available. You may want to give our soon to be fam
 ous creeper races a try. Granted, you’re sure to work up an appetite
  after any of these activities, fear not, the students are manning a c
 oncession area complete with hamburgers, hot dogs, and Mr. Steward’s
  awesome pulled pork sandwiches, and smoked chicken dinners for your e
 picurean delight. Awards, hand made by the students, for best paint, b
 est engineered, and people’s choice will be judged at 1:00PM, and wi
 nners must be present to accept their accolades. As our sophomore effo
 rt, we wanted this show to be a family friendly, fun, laid-back event,
  so we will be taking suggestions as to how we might improve for next 
 year. It takes a lot of effort and planning to host a car show and wit
 h little previous experience under their belt, the students have worke
 d hard to organize this event. We would like to take this opportunity
