  car,  a Mercedes-Benz authorized recreation made in Argentina by for
 mer Formula 1 driver Scuderia Bucci, was built to pay homage to the or
 iginal car in which Mercedes team driver Stirling Moss broke the reco
 rd (that still stands today) in the 1955 Mille Miglia. Only seven of t
 hese convertible race cars were originally built, and the designer tur
 ned two of them into coupes, one of which recently sold for a world re
