  the Fort Wayne, IN factory. After 20 years and 532,673 Scouts, the la
 st one, number 532,764, a red Scout II powered by a Nissan diesel, rol
 led off the line. The Scout was the first competitor to Jeep and help
 ed spawn the SUV segment which later included the Ford Bronco, Chevy B
