  OHV, straight 6 with 3 speed manual to the AMC 327 V8 releasing 270 p
 onies and transmissions from a basic 3 speed, auto and Twin Stick, a 3
  speed with an overdrive engaged with a second shifter. Never a big se
 ller, 10,327 found garages in '65. The 1966 Marlin ( not a  Rambler )
  sold 4,547 and, in the final year, '67, the AMC Marlin was shifted fr
 om the Classic to the Ambassador platform and the 343 replaced the 327
