 g carriages, wagons, and sleighs. You will see ‘high wheelers” and
  “safety bicycles,” vehicle builder’s tools, and local historic 
 roadside architecture.\r\n \r\nThe museum is housed in the former hom
 e of the Boyertown Auto Body Works, which had continuous operations on
  this site from 1872 – 1990, and retains the factory setting, making
  it a unique and interesting setting for the vehicles.\r\n \r\nThe Mu
 seum gift shop features unique items for all the family. A large selec
 tion of museum items and vehicle-related books are available.\r\nThe B
 oyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles educates visitors by highlighting
  the evolution of transportation and roadside culture by preserving an
 d displaying innovative, PA-built, significantly interesting, and alte
 rnative propulsion vehicles.\r\nThe Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehic
 les was established in 1965 by Paul and Erminie Hafer.  Paul Hafer h
 ad a 57-year career of designing and building truck bodies at the Boye
 rtown Auto Body Works, which was co-founded by his father B. Frank Haf
 er.  He served for 21 years as Chairman of the Executive Committee of
  the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles. \r\nErminie Hafer’s boo
 k, A Century of Vehicle Craftsmanship, is a thorough history on the t
 ransportation industry in Southeastern Pennsylvania.\r\nPlan to visit 
 the Museum on Saturday, December 6, from 5 – 8:30 pm for Rockin’ A
 round the Museum – a festive celebration honoring the Museum’s 60t
 h Anniversary. The Museum opened in December 1965 and has been committ
 ed to preserving PA’s Transportation Heritage ever since. As part of
  the celebration, the Museum will be unveiling one of its newest acqui
