DESCRIPTION:Weekend of Thunder brings back Trans-AM Championship for t
 he second consecutive year, while Formula Lites will make their series
  debut at NJMP. A Trans Am Series race is 100 miles in length, and doe
 s not require a mandatory pit stop for fueling, tires or driver change
 s. As a sprint, it is driver versus driver, and that means its flatout
  racing from start to finish. Past Trans Am champions include Scott Pr
 uett, Scott Sharp, and Boris Said. Formula Lites; The series is sancti
 oned by SCCA Pro Racing. The SCCA Trans Am Series dates back to its fi
 rst season in 1966. The Formula Lites series was created to provide an
  economical, technologically advanced race vehicle with an emphasis on
  safety, to give drivers the opportunity to develop their skills to pr
 ogress into higher levels of open-wheel racing. The series, sanctioned
  by SCCA Pro Racing is scheduled to launch at the end of 2014 at selec
 t events with a full schedule in 2015. The Formula Lites program aims 
 at developing drivers interested in entering professional motorsports,
  including those who seek to make the leap from karting to open-wheel 
 racing. Fidelity Power Systems Pro IT Series was conceived in late 200
 7 and kicked off in 2008 with great success. The Jersey Racing Board r
 easoning behind this series is to allow our drivers to have more track
  time during the weekend. There is always an opportunity to ‘double
