Please join us for the 2016 Uncharted.TM Poker Run to benefit Breast Cancer Research on September 11th at 7:00AM. Prepare yourself for a day of driving, cars, trucks, food, pictures, prizes and most of all FUN! This will be a standard “Poker Run” format with drivers navigating through 5 stops on a pre-determined 140 mile route that includes a variety of scenic back roads, rural highways, and leg stretching freeways. At the final stop, the last card will be drawn, food and drink will be served, raffles will be drawn and a “winner” of the poker run will be chosen based on traditional poker rules. This poker run is open to cars, trucks, motorcycles but it is capped at 150 drivers, so make sure you register today the spots will fill up quickly! There is a $20 registration fee for the driver and a co-pilot (recommended) each additional passenger requires $5 fee. Payments can be made either through PayPal (in advance) or in cash the day of event. No Refunds. If you're sending money through PayPal send as family and friends or add for the fees. Include your name, phone number and email address along with your payment. All participants and passengers are required to complete a waiver in advance of the event, and will not be able to participate if it has not been received by the event coordinators. The “winner” of the poker run will receive a portion of the donations, with the remaining funds being donated to Breast Cancer Research and to cover event related expenses (food, bev, etc). (Exact dollars associated to the winning prize and donation will vary based on number of participants)There will be other prizes and raffles to raise additional money for the Cancer Research. The starting location will be in New Castle County DE, and we will disclose the exact starting location the week before the event. There will be coverage of the event, including rolling shots, videography, and various other points for group photography. Please feel free to film the event, and please share any pictures or video of the event that you may capture!
While this event includes driving from location to location, please leave your egos at home, be respectful of the locations that you will be driving to and most of all, respect the other people and their cars around you. Please do not speed and ensure you adhere to and obey all traffic laws while navigating the run. No reckless behavior, burnouts, turfing, reving, or racing. There will be lots of cars and people; we want everyone to have a SAFE and FUN time.
