Event Description
Held in conjunction with the Borough of Delaware Water Gap's Founder's Day Celebration, "Cars in the Water Gap"is open to unique vehicles of all eras with 20+ classes of vehicles. Best of Show Awards for the Best Street Rod/Custom, and Best Original/Restoration. "Goodies" bags and dash plaques will be given to the first 150 registrants. Proceeds of the event will benefit the restoration of the historic Delaware Water Gap Railroad Station and other worthy regional causes. A steam excursion train from Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton PA (www.nps.gov/stea/) will arrive at the station/show site at 12:00 noon. Additional activities around the borough include a firehouse pancake breakfast, art and crafts shows, live music, great food, auto flea market, auto-related vendors, and a free roving trolley running throughout the town.
