The full Formula Race Promotions ladder, including Atlantic Championship Series, F2000 Championship Series, and F1600 Championship Series, along with NARRA (North American Road Racing Association) will return to Thunderbolt Raceway for an action-packed weekend. The North American Road Racing Association sanctions the U.S. GT Championship and Whelen U.S. Time Trial Championship, among other series.

F1600, often called FF or Formula Ford and now referred to as Formula F, has a rich history in both the USA and around the world. F2000 is a formula that was developed in England in the mid 1970’s and has gone through a couple of evolutions to become one of the best rides for the money in road racing. It is a step up from F1600, with the addition of more horsepower, larger tires and aero considerations in the form of wings and diffusers. The suspension geometry of a modern F2000 is as sophisticated as anything out there, and offers great training for drivers, engineers and mechanics.

NARRA’s offering is unique, allowing drivers to progress through the ranks of motorsports from beginner to pro. For over 18 years NARRA has catered to all high performance and exotic marques and now welcome all sports car enthusiasts and GT racers. NARRA is known for its competition, sportsmanship and camaraderie. It’s where the biggest rivalries on the track are only matched by greatest friends off the track. Each event features a social hour and banquet.
