The owners of Branford Coppola Customs, who describe themselves as "close friends" of Mark Palumbo Jr., the Madison man who died in a wrong-way crash, and his family, are hosting a community 'Cars & Coffee' event Oct. 27, "in honor and remembrance of Mark," according to Abby and Tom Coppola. "He had a great passion for cars. He owned MAP Auto Detailing and was a huge supporter of all local car shows, and the car community," Abby Coppola wrote in a news release announcing the event.

He loved taking his family to car shows! 

Coppola said the event, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., will include "words shared" about Palumbo, and a car parade down Business Park Drive.

Coppola said the business will be "accepting donations for Amanda and her daughters," selling coffee, bagels and donuts from Willoughby’s Coffee & Tea, and "selling our Coppola Customs company merchandise with 100 percent of proceeds being donated to Amanda."

The event will also feature a food truck.
