Event Description
The Hagerstown Speedway will honor our Heroes, Saturday May 4, 2013. It will be Fire/Rescue/ First Responder Appreciation Night. All Fire, Rescue and EMS personnel are invited to enjoy the evening festivities free of charge. All Career, Volunteer and retired personnel will be admitted free to the evening’s program of stock car racing. Passes will be issued upon your arrival with proof of affiliation or you may wear your uniform.
It will be a great night for the Staff, and fans at the Hagerstown Speedway, to honor our Heroes. All “Hot Dawg” first responders will be treated to free hot dogs from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
On the program will be the Late Model Sportsman, Pure Stocks, Hobby Stocks and a 4 Cylinder Special. Gates open at 5 PM with racing at 7 PM . The Speedway is located 6 miles west of Hagerstown on Route 40.
