Detailing World Manheim invites you to the Carnival of Cars, taking place on June 28th from 10 AM to 3 PM. This event is a free, open car meet with no attendance or registration fees. Expect an amazing day filled with awesome cars, a live music DJ, and an on-site beer vendor.

This month, we are dedicating the Carnival of Cars to the memory of Ken Hoshauer. Ken passed away on June 2, 2026, after a courageous two-year battle with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. A kid at heart, Ken was a lifelong auto enthusiast and a staple in the local car community. During car show season, he could frequently be found showing off his beloved '67 or '84 Camaro.

Ken's leadership and participation in the local car scene were immense. He was the Founder and President of the Susquehanna Valley Camaro and Firebird Club. He was also an active member of both the Vagabonds Rods & Custom Club and The Red Rose Antique Auto Club.

Beyond cars, Ken fiercely loved his family, particularly his wife of 47 years, Cathy, and was deeply passionate about Disney, Flyers hockey, and bowling. In honor of his famously vibrant personality and the crazy Hawaiian shirts he was known for wearing at the Barshinger Center, we encourage attendees to wear their favorite Hawaiian shirts to the show!

In addition to celebrating Ken's life, our goal for this event is to give back to the community. In lieu of flowers and in accordance with the family's wishes, we will be raising money in Ken's honor to benefit the Lancaster County Children's Alliance.

Bring your classic and muscle cars, your friends, and your Hawaiian shirts as we celebrate the life of a great friend, husband, and father whose joy for life was truly infectious.
