Event Description
Thunder in the Glen: The birthplace of Corvette' will celebrate the legacy of the iconic car brand at Clute Park in Watkins Glen, NY. This event will feature a Corvette Show, food trucks, merchandise sales., a Saturday Downtown Block Party, and laps around the original Grand Prix Course. Participants can also experience WGI Laps. The event runs from 6:00pm- 9:00 PM on Friday May 16, 2026, and from 11:00 AM, to 5:00 PM on Saturday, May 17, 2026. Interested participants should register online exclusively at vettefest.org. May 16th, 2026
6 pm to 9 pm: Ticketed Meet and Greet at Clute Park.
Keynote Speaker Legend Ron Fellows. Corvette racer and NASCAR driver at the Glen.
Saturday
May 17h, 2026
11 am-5 pm: Watkins Glen Downtown Static Display -4th Street to 12th Street. Downtown will be closed off to traffic; local businesses open.
3PM: Historic Old Course Laps begin; then Corvettes move to Watkins Glen International for Drive the Glen.
