‘58 with the hardtop on and a few rewards earned. I thought this was going to be my last car project, this was my ultimate Corvette! Then my sister’s husband asked me “If you could only have one classic car, what would it be?” I immediately said the ‘58 Corvette! Two weeks later I started thinking, could there be another car that could take the place of my treasured Vette? I went to the basement and started looking at old books and magazines and low and behold I saw my first look at an Aerosedan and then started looking for one within 800 miles of me to see one in the flesh to see if I wanted one.
Damn if I didn’t want one. I procrastinated 8.5 months before I could put the ‘58 up for sale in Hemmings Motor News. My Vette is cruising around in Melbourne, Australia now and I found this project out in the state of Washington and completed it a few years ago. I enjoyed and enjoy both cars just as much but in a different light.
