When people ask me what kind of BMW this is, I tell them it's a "1" Series that I picked up in Canada when I was dodging the draft during 'Nam.

There was once an announcement on a certain school's PA system, "Attention, there is a green BMW in the parking lot with its lights on." I thought, "No way" and sure enough an hour later... yup, I had left them on. I had to do the safety tape. I wanted to reduce the chances of getting hit in an 1,800 pound ping pong ball made from Pepsi cans. Unfortunately the old girl is living on in my red Metro and is soon to get chopped into a chariot to be towed (by the red Metro) in Skippak's 4th of July Parade with Santa Clause wearing a Hawaiian shirt. Guess I'll have to post that one too.
