Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix's Page

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Association is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization with a mission to hold a world-class vintage automotive event for charity. It is the region's premier summer event for hundreds of thousands of automotive enthusiasts in that it combines charitable fundraising with car shows and vintage sports car racing on city streets.

The 2013 Race Week runs from July 7th through the 21st culminating with our 31th annual vintage races and car shows at Schenley Park on the weekend of July 20/21. Since 1983 this volunteer-driven event has raised over $2.75 million for the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and Allegheny Valley School.

You can make it as fancy as you like (I love what you done to this page) or as simple as you choose. We will help get the word out nationally. We also have a national radio show on which I can interview you about the race.

Also, please change the name here to your personal name as this is a social network base calendar. We have found it works much better as an individual based operation. Also, this frees up your organization to set up a group/club on the listing. This listing gives you a comment list and and forum to set up back links to your website. +Add A Group

When you get your supporters and members to join the lisiting, it can be powerful force in improving communciations and your Search Engine Optimization, as well. Let me know how I can help.

Welcome over to our website! I am so pleased to have you here! This is a great site for those of us that love old cars and bikes!! :-) Thank you for informing us about the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix.
Whether you are looking to attend events or when you are interested in helping promote and publicize events, we are pleased to help bring a broader awareness about auto, truck and motorcycle events throughout the US. There are so many things we can do together to increase attention to our mutual interest in "wheels". The more members and participants you get to join and "RSVP", the higher ranking I can push for your club/event on the search engines. Please note that we provide a unique URL for all events you post here, and this is good to use in emails and other links.
We are eager to see some photos & videos of your vintage cars, as well as of the various other vehicles you favor, and all the events you enjoy, too. We want as many photos as we can get. Please announce this at any shows you attend, as we want to get the word out! It is good to write about your "wheels" adventures on the blog, as we all enjoy stories from our members.
As you can see, one of the real strengths of our website is the feature that any member can add events whenever they find one that have not been listed! You do not have to "submit" through emails or the postal service, etc.
