1903 Ford Model A.
As a little different kind of post for today, here is a historical image of a 1903 Ford Model A.
After two false starts in the motor industry, Henry Ford formed the Ford Motor Company on June 16, 1903 and introduced his Model A automobile the following month. A two-passenger runabout with under-seat two-cylinder engine, it was capable of 30 mph and weighed just 1,250 pounds. More than 1,700 were built by the end of the year, and the model A continued to 1904.
The car came as a two-seater runabout or four-seater tonneau model with an option to add a top.
