H. R. Godfrey, who went on later to build H.R.G. cars, & Capt. A. Frazer Nash who later produced the Frazer Nash line of sports cars got together in 1910 to build a cyclecar with an air-cooled, v-twin engine driving the backed rear axel through a dog clutch, chains, and belts.
These were wildly successful, both in competition, and in transportation. In 1922 they tried a four-cylinder, water-cooled, which did not sell well, and by 1924 they were out of business.
Note Frazer-Nash the man had a hyphen, Frazer Nash the car did not.
