One of two electric automobiles purchased by the Andersons for their collection, the 1905 Electromobile is an English electric car, and a product of a London manufacturer from 1901 to 1920. The automobile is composed of a British chassis and a body designed by Kellner of Paris. One of the Andersons’ most unique automobiles, it drew a lot of attention from the locals, especially children, who would make fun of the car as it drove by, mocking its unusual shape and design.
The chauffeur would always drive them in this auto.
Notice the different electronic equipment in front of and behind the auto. They could use these to convert various types of power found in various places to charge the batteries.
