1916 Scripps-Booth Model-C
Scripps-Booth produced automobiles from 1912 to 1917, when it was absorbed by Chevrolet. The last of its name was assembled from parts on hand by General Motors in 1922.
With a pointed German silver radiator shell, Houk wire wheels and torpedo rear deck, this three-seat roadster appealed to a number of people such as Mrs. Jay Gould, Reggie Vanderbilt, the Queen of Holland, the King of Spain and Winston Churchill.
Specifications: Model C; engine Sterling four-cylinder, in-line, water-cooled; bore 3 in., stroke 4-1/4 in., displacement 120.2 cu. in., 20/25 hp.
