1925 Ford Model T converted to a Track Inspection Car
This Model T was converted into a crew car for the two-foot gauge Sandy River and Rangeley Lakes Railroad at the Phillips, Maine, Car Barn.
After the demise of that railroad, it went to the Edaville Railroad in Massachusetts. With the renewed interest in the two-footers, it was returned to Maine in 1993.
Specifications: Engine four-cylinder, in-line, water-cooled; bore 3-3/4 in., stroke 4 in., displacement 176.7 cu. in., 20 hp.
This was seen at the Owls Head Transportation Museum in Maine.
