April 1934 roads in Grant County WV weren’t too good!

This treasure was found amongst pictures at the Grant County Bank. Who is it?

The display is still up at the Landes Arts Center in Petersburg, WV.

I have had a real lot of people see it so far and all felt the display lived up to and far surpassed what I described or they had expected.

I wish I could have been there in person to share so many interesting details my research has uncovered with each person who came by.

While the display has been up since March 1st it will come down the end of April. That last weekend of April I will be at the Landes Arts Center on Friday 12-6, Sat. 9 am to 6 pm, and Sunday 1-5 during Spring Mountain Festival. This will allow plenty of opportunity for people to see it if they are interested.

A number of people have been heard to say they heard it was good but that they never dreamed the display would have any where near as much interesting, historical, images.

Quite a few have discovered personal treasures with images of their loved ones they never knew existed.

This 2017 Display is called "Our Local Heritage" it features historical scenes of Grant & Hardy Counties WV.
