View of Mr. Jewell and passengers in Franklin car at Highland, New York during the 1909 Catskill-Berkshire Tour sponsored by the New York Automobile Trade Association. Livery and boarding stable in background. The tour covered a route through New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, telephones 3472-3473 Columbus, 1931 Broadway, New York." Handwritten on back: "Jewell in Franklin [undecipherable] at Highlands [sic]. Tours--Catskill-Berkshire Tour, 1909."
