1957 Chrysler New Yorker St Regis Highway Hi-Fi Demonstration
Before there were tape decks, there was the record player for cars, the Highway Hi-Fi . This was a Chrysler Corp. only option. About 18,000 were produced but it was troublesome and did not perform that well.

Thanks for the great video, Pam. I have an owner's manual for a 1957 Dodge... and no, I won't part with it! It shows how to run the turntable. My family drove it from New Haven, CT to Sacramento, CA in 1959. We crossed the Mississippi on my first birthday.
