Event Description
September 26 is the last chance to purchase the Newport Car Museum’s $20 “Fast Five” Raffle tickets to help bring light into the lives of young patients at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Proceeds from sales go toward the purchase of mini electric cars that children use to drive to their cancer and other treatments.
First prize is a ride to lunch with the founders in the same Ford GT40 that is featured in the famous train heist scene of the “Fast Five” movie starring Vin Diesel. That movie will be shown September 26 at 7 p.m. at Newport Car Museum where first-, second- and third-place winners will be announced.
