On Saturday, May 24, 2025, Model Con 419 will take place in the Quality Inn Perrysburg.  The hobby event will bring plastic modelers from all over the Midwest to compete in a judged competition, and shop with a wide array of vendors. The doors will open to the public at 9:00 am.

The judged model contest will be divided into 55 categories, with subjects ranging from Aircraft and Military Vehicles to Spacecraft and Dinosaurs.  There are Juniors and Teens categories to allow younger modelers to compete.  Trophies will be awarded for First, Second, and Third Places, along with “Best Ofs” in each category; also, Special Awards will be given for particular subjects.  Over 30 vendor tables will be loaded with a variety of model kits, books, tools and supplies at prices well below those of brick-and-mortar stores.  In addition, there will be an all-day raffle with even more kits and modeling supplies up for grabs.  The show will close at about 5:00 pm.
