We decided that since 2020 has been such a train-wreck and has put many individuals and families through some very difficult times, we would make this event a charity event to benefit local families and individuals by joining up with the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank.  All of the profits from the event and all of the money collected from the “silliness” portion will be donated to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank.  If we manage to fill up registration to capacity, we will raise at least $1000 for the charity, but I don’t feel that is enough and I would like to see us raise closer to $3000.  The food bank has decided to no longer accept canned goods donations for a few reasons, some due to COVID-19 and some not, but they informed me that for every $1 raised they can purchase $6 in food from their distributors.  So, if we manage to raise $3000, that equals $18,000 in food and that will feed a lot of deserving families for the upcoming holidays.

Since it is a week before Halloween we will be holding a “costume” contest with a sweet prize for the best vehicle costume as well as the best human costume.

Now back to the rest of the event, the morning will be a normal points event and we will have 3 runs.  After that, we will proceed with the “silliness” portion of the day.  If time allows, we will be offering “fun runs” at the end of the day for $1 per run.  This will be your opportunity to swap vehicles or try out new techniques.
